2025 fairway woods: who each one suits
Every 2025 fairway wood in our catalog that is still made, with the kind of golfer our fitting ranks it for. No fairway wood is crowned: the right one depends on your swing.
How this list is made
We ran the fitting's own ranking on 44 test golfer profiles, which span handicaps 0–36 and swing speeds 65–120 mph, over every fairway wood still made, whatever its year. For each 2025 fairway wood we counted how many profiles rank it first and how many have it in their top three. “First for 5 of 44” means five of those profiles put it first. It is a count over our test profiles, not a claim about all golfers.
Fairway woods are ordered by first-place rankings, then top-three rankings, then name. A fairway wood with no count is still listed: it may suit a swing none of our test profiles covers. Prices are launch prices from our catalog, not today's.

It is a count over our test profiles, not a claim about all golfers; the fitting ranks for your own swing.
Which 2025 fairway wood suits a slower swing?

The 2025 fairway woods that ranked first or in the top three for them most often are PXG Wildcat (first for 6, in the top three for 8), Tour Edge Exotics Max (first for 1, in the top three for 5) and Callaway Elyte (first for 1, in the top three for 1). Are 2025 fairway woods a better fit than older ones?
Not automatically. Across our 44 test golfer profiles the fitting's top three fairway woods give 132 places, and 46 of them went to 2025 fairway woods. The rest went to fairway woods from other years that are still sold. A fairway wood is judged on how it fits a swing, not on its year.
