How to choose
Picking grips
- Get the size right. Too small makes you grip tight, and too large limits your wrist action.
- A reduced taper puts more material under the lower hand. Some golfers find it helps them hold the club more lightly.
- Texture and material matter in the wet. Check the weather rating if you play in rain.
- Grips wear out. Replace them when they feel slick, usually once a year if you play often.
